Atlantic Puffin has black and white color feathers, but it has a colorful beak which fades to a drab gray during the winter and blooms with color again in the spring. It usually is used for attracting potential mates. Those birds are instinctive swimmer. Most of  time, they live at sea and rest on the surface of water. they can use their wing to stroke underwater. usually they can dive to depth of 200 feet and stay underwater for 20 or 30 seconds. Herring and sand eels are their common foods. Otherwise, Atlantic puffin also can fly fast in the air. They can reach speeds of 55 miles an hour. Atlantic puffins usually rest on North Atlantic seacoasts for breeding their next generation each spring and summer. 60 percent of the world's Atlantic puffins rest here for breeding. they often chose rocky cliff tops to build their nests which they build with feathers and grass. Both parents take turn to lay on the signal egg. after bridling came out from the egg, parents take turn to feed it by carrying small fishes. Puffin always reunite at the same place each year.
